Historical women - historically portrayed to fill the gaps in museums
The idea is quite simple in itself: imagine if these women, who have almost been forgotten or are quite unjustifiably barely to be found in the shadows of history, were hanging in the great historical art museums. Large and present alongside all the men who are exhibited there. There they would finally be the role models we all need, whether male, female and everything in between and beyond.
As I continue to work on this project, there will always be more portraits of women to be found here.
